Heather
Pronouns: she/her

Heather is best known as the dynamic owner of Creative Bug (established in 2006) in Beamsville. She is a Dalhousie MBA Grad with a broad scope of experience in corporate, nonprofit and small business environments. She loves being immersed in her community and building diverse and interactive programs for people of all ages and abilities. Heather thrives on new opportunities to learn and develop skills and abilities while firmly being committed to meeting her goals. Heather’s passion for her work brings joy, skills, confidence, opportunities to grow and have fun to all who participate in her unique programs. This same passion has been shared with many organizations through her volunteer work including Heart & Stroke, YWCA and Girl Guides of Canada.

Madalyn
Pronouns: she/her
Madalyn has been going to Creative Bug programs for many years and became part of the amazing team in 2020. You'll never catch her without a pair of crazy earrings or a funky necklace. She loves painting, sculpting and sketching. She is the resident crazy plant (and cat) lady of the team and her favourite colour is green!

Kylee
Pronouns: she/her
Kylee has gone to Creative Bug programs since she was little and joined the team in Summer 2021. Although she spends her time as a sports and video game enthusiast, Kylee always has time to delve into new art projects. She loves sketching, painting, and even jewelry making! Kylee is always thrilled to meet new artists and learn from their amazing techniques!

Simon
Pronouns: he/him
Simon has attended Creative Bug programs for as long as he can remember! He has enjoyed helping run games and working with artists for special events since he was a young artist himself and finally became an official member of the Amazing Team in Fall 2021. Simon loves math, reading and making optical illusions online and on paper. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends playing board games and playing D&D.

Ally
Pronouns: he/him
Ally is new to Creative Bug and is a lifelong Niagara resident. He is passionate about personal & creative expression and cultivating safe(r) spaces for LGBTQIA2S+ youth. Ally enjoys cooking, audiobooks, being outdoors and quality time with friends and family.


Ruby
Ruby joined the Creative Bug team in 2013. You can usually spot her on location near the rest of the team. She loves being included in events and photos!
